Evaporator Core - Without Auxiliary Climate Control
REMOVAL
NOTE: If an A/C evaporator core leak is suspected, the A/C evaporator core must be leak tested before it is removed from the vehicle.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the retainers and the insulator (6.0L diesel).
3. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling.

Discard the O-ring seals.
4. Remove the suction accumulator/drier.
5. Remove the nuts and reposition the manifold absolute pressure sensor and bracket (diesel).
