High Pressure Fuel Injection Pump

High Pressure Fuel Injection Pump

The high pressure fuel injection pump is gear driven by the camshaft gear and is located at the rear of the engine. It increases the fuel pressure from
approximately 34.5-41.3 kPa (5-6 psi) up to 169.96 MPa (24,650 psi) and delivers it to the fuel rails.
