1. Using an appropriate tool, slide the release tab forward in the slot while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.

After installation, when inserting the safety belt tongue into the safety belt buckle, make sure the safety belt buckle and safety belt retractor
webbing are not incorrectly twisted.
Vehicles with bench seat
2. Using an appropriate tool, push in the pin hole while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.

All seats
3. Position the seat or seat backrest forward enough to access the center safety belt retractor.
4. Remove the center safety belt retractor cover bezel.
5. Pull to release the clips and remove the center safety belt retractor cover.

Feed the center safety belt retractor belt and tongue through the center safety belt retractor cover.
6. Remove the center safety belt retractor.

Remove the 2 center safety belt retractor D-ring nuts (1 shown).

To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

Separate the center safety belt retractor D-ring from the sheet metal.

Remove the center safety belt retractor bolt

To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

Slide the center safety belt retractor up, releasing the tab and remove the center safety belt retractor.
