Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

On models equipped with tilt steering column, release tilt lock, then lower steering column to seat. On models equipped with conventional steering
column, remove upper and lower steering column trim covers.

3.

On all models, remove cluster bezel attaching screws and pull bezel away from cluster.

4.

If applicable, disconnect electrical wiring from rear window defogger or wiper switch.

5.

Remove instrument cluster attaching screws, then pull cluster outward and disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors from rear of
cluster.

6.

Remove cluster from vehicle.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.
