ISSUE:
The 1988 Festiva Scheduled Maintenance and Record Log Book is incorrect as published for California vehicle owners. The incorrect
information indicates the fuel filter requires replacement at 30,000 miles and idle speed checks are required at 15,000, 30,000 and 45,000
miles. These items are not required for California vehicles until 50,000 miles of service has been accumulated. Therefore, if the customer
does not have these maintenance operations performed, the vehicle warranty is still valid.

Please review this revised maintenance schedule information with your customers.
