Remove the right front wheel and inner fender panel, Figure 4.
NOTE:
SUPPORT THE FRONT OF THE CAR ON JACK STANDS.

Lift the engine with a floor jack to relieve the pressure from the front engine mount.
8.
Remove the front engine mount from the engine.
9.
Lower the engine to gain access to the crankshaft pulley bolts and screws.
10.
Remove the 4 crankshaft pulley bolts and the 2 Phillips screws.
NOTE:
IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO USE A HAND IMPACT DRIVER TO REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS.

Remove the crankshaft pulley and timing belt guide plates.
12.
Remove the lower timing belt cover.
13.
Loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt and reposition the tensioner to the left and temporarily tighten the tensioner bolt.

Remove the timing belt.

Clean the two locations as shown in Figure 5.

Apply silicone sealer or equivalent to the seams between the oil pump and water pump. Work the silicone into the seams from the inside, using
your finger, until silicone can be seen coming through the gap to the exterior side of the part.
