Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1.
Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Remove catalytic converter inlet pipe to manifold and pulse air tube to inlet pipe attaching nuts and washers.
3.
Remove inlet pipe support bracket attaching bolts, then lower vehicle.
4.
Remove air cleaner assembly, then the exhaust manifold heat shroud.
5.
Remove oxygen sensor wiring from routing bracket, then disconnect sensor electrical connector.
6.
Remove pulse air tube routing bracket attaching bolt and clamp, then the pulse air tube and gaskets.
7.
Remove exhaust manifold to cylinder head attaching nuts, then the manifold.
8.
Reverse procedure to install using new gaskets.
