ISSUE:
The transaxle halfshaft locknuts and rear wheel bearing hub locknuts must be replaced whenever they are removed or loosened.
ACTION:
If service is required, refer to the appropriate Car Shop Manual, Section 11-15 for detailed service information for the rear wheel bearing
hub locknuts or Section 11-16 for the transaxle halfshaft locknuts.
The rear nuts on the RH side of the vehicle have LH threads.

Make sure these nuts are turned clockwise to remove them and counter clockwise to install them.

Stake the nuts after installation with a small, round tipped chisel.

Do not use a sharp chisel.
