Route the ground cable around and towards the upper rear of the passenger side sound shield (Figure 2).

NOTE

IN STEP 3 THE GROUND CABLE EYELET MUST BE PLACED BETWEEN THE BOLT HEAD AND THE SOUND SHIELD STRAP FOR
PROPER GROUND. DO NOT PLACE THE GROUND CABLE EYELET BETWEEN THE SOUND SHIELD STRAP AND THE VEHICLE
BODY.

Attach the other end of the ground cable under the sound shield bracket mounting bolt (Figure 3). Torque bolt to 26 lb-ft (35 N.m).
