Pull the liftgate upper trim panel toward the middle of the liftgate window glass to release the retaining clips.
5. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel retainer screw covers.
6. Remove the 4 liftgate lower trim panel retainer screws.
7. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel.

Pull outward on the liftgate lower trim panel outward to release the pin-type retainers.
8. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the liftgate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the liftgate and attach them to the liftgate trim
panel before installing.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
