6. Disconnect the backrest heater mat electrical connector and separate the pin-type retainer.
7. Push the backrest foam pad away from the backrest frame.
8. Remove the power lumbar assembly.
1. Disconnect the power lumbar motor electrical connector.
2. Squeeze the power lumbar retaining clip together and separate it from the backrest frame.

Repeat for the power lumbar retaining clip on the other side.
3. Remove the power lumbar assembly.
9. Remove the clip on the recliner shaft and the recline motor bolt.
