This article supersedes TSB 9-2-7 to update the Issue statement and Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) release.
ISSUE
Some 2009 Flex and MKS vehicles built on or before 12/12/2008 with a firm 1-2 upshift or harsh driveline clunk felt at low speed - below 10 MPH (16
Km/h)-stop and go driving on tip in may be due to a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration. There is a new calibration that will improve the 1-2
upshift feel, low speed stop and go driving feel.
ACTION
Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 63.12 and higher or 64.01 and higher.
This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2009.9 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
