5. Using emery cloth, or other suitable material, remove any pitting or corrosion from the leading edge of the wheel spindle seal running surface.
6. Using the Seal Installer, install the new water seal and protective cap.

Tighten the Seal Installer to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
7. Remove and discard the protective cap.
8. Install the brake drum.
