Once Rotunda Vacutec(R) Smoke Machine Fuel EVAP Emission System Tester with Built-in Nitrogen Generator has been setup per PC/ED and
manufactures instructions, proceed through the following inspection procedure while pulsing the smoke machine at 15 second intervals:
a. Inspect the evaporative hoses and connections, evaporative canister, evaporative canister vent solenoid, fuel vapor tube assembly (including fuel
tank pressure sensor), fuel tank, fuel tank gasket, filler pipe, and at the filler pipe cap.
b. Wiggle the components and connections to simulate road bumps while looking for signs of leaking smoke.
NOTE
IF THE LEAK IS IN THE FILLER NECK NEAR THE FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE BRACKET, SMOKE UNDER PRESSURE MAY NOT
REACH THIS LEAK. REMOVAL OF FUEL CAP TO ALLOW SMOKE TO ENTER FILLER PIPE IS NECESSARY. REFER TO PC/ED, STEP
HX47 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

Repair source of leak. Verify leak repair with IDS evaporative leak test. Connect all disconnected components and clear DTC's.
