Wheel Spindle

Removal

All Vehicles

1. Release the parking brake.
2. Remove the wheel and tire. 

Vehicles with anti-lock brakes

3. Detach the wheel speed sensor.

All vehicles

4. NOTE:  If the dust cap is damaged during removal, a new dust cap must be used.

Remove the dust cap.

5. CAUTION:  Use a socket to remove the hub retaining nut to prevent damage.

CAUTION:  Make sure the ABS sensor ring (if equipped), is not knocked or damaged and is kept free from metallic fragments when removing
the brake drum.

Remove the brake drum.
1. Remove the hub retaining nut.
2. Remove the brake drum.
