Loosen the six (6) subframe attaching bolts, approximately two to three turns (720 - 1080 degrees of rotation). (Figure 2)
3.
Shift the subframe in the direction needed to align it properly with the vehicles' body structure.
4.
Torque the two (2) rearward outboard bolts (M14) first to 129 lb-ft +/- 12 lb-ft (175 N.m +/- 17 N.m).
5.
Torque the two (2) forward attaching bolts (M12) to 76 lb-ft +/- 12 lb-ft (103 N.m +/- 15 N.m).
6.
Torque the two (2) rearward inboard bolts (M14) to 129 lb-ft +/- 12 lb-ft (175 N.m +/- 17 N.m).
NOTE
TIGHTENING THE ATTACHMENT BOLTS IN THIS SEQUENCE WILL MINIMIZE SUB FRAME SHIFTING DURING THE PROCEDURE.
NOTE
VEHICLE WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND TOE CHECK/ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED AFTER THIS PROCEDURE.
