18. Connect Restraint System Diagnostic Tools 418-138 (2 req'd) to the vehicle harness side of the passenger air bag module electrical connectors.
Vehicles with seat side air bags
19. Disconnect the passenger seat electrical connector located under the seat.
20. Connect Restraint System Diagnostic Tools 418-F139 (2 req'd) to the vehicle harness side of the driver and passenger seat side air bag module
electrical connectors.
All vehicles
21. Install the restraints control module fuse F2.60 (7.5A) to the central junction box (CJB).
22. Connect the battery ground cable.
Reactivation
All vehicles
1. Remove the restraints control module fuse F2.60 (7.5A) from the central junction box (CJB).
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
3. Loosen the passenger air bag module floating bracket retaining nuts.
4. Remove the restraint system diagnostic tool from the vehicle harness side of the passenger seat side air bag module electrical connector.
5. Install the passenger air bag module.

Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connectors.
