16. CAUTION: Cap the brake tubes to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress.
Remove the master cylinder to HCU brake tubes.
17. Detach the wiring harness from the wheelhouse assembly.
18. NOTE: Do not separate the HCU and stability assist module.
Remove the HCU and stability assist module assembly.
Installation
WARNING: When installing a new Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) and stability assist module, the HCU and stability assist module must be
renewed as a complete assembly. Failure to follow this instruction may cause personal injury.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Bleed the brake system.
