3. Disconnect the fuel supply tube from the fuel pump module.

Remove the red fuel tube retaining clip from the fuel pump module.

While holding the red fuel tube clip against the fuel pump module, firmly pull the fuel supply tube to disconnect it from the fuel pump module.
All vehicles
4. Using the special tool, remove the locking ring.
Vehicles built up to 08/2002
5. Remove the fuel pump module.
1. Rotate the module counterclockwise.
2. Lift the module from the fuel tank.
CAUTION: Make sure that the float or arm are not damaged while removing the fuel pump module.
Vehicles built 08/2002 onward
6. Remove the fuel pump module

Release the fuel pump module locking tangs.
CAUTION: Make sure that the float or arm are not damaged while removing the fuel pump module.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Lubricate the fuel tube fittings with clean engine oil. Align the fuel tube fittings and press together until a click is heard and then pull on
