Shift Cable: Service and Repair
Selector Lever Cable
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. CAUTION: Excessive bending of the flexible exhaust pipe may cause damage resulting in failure. Support the flexible exhaust pipe with a
support wrap or suitable splint.
Support the flexible exhaust pipe, using a suitable wrap.
3. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe and detach the support insulators.

Discard the gasket.
4. Unclip the selector lever cable from the right-hand side of the bracket.
5. Remove the wiring harness cover.
