Gearshift Cables
Removal
1. CAUTION: Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the selector and shift cables from the transaxle.

Remove the shift cable by twisting the abutment collar counter-clockwise.
3. Move the selector and gearshift levers on the transmission to "neutral" (both levers should be vertical).
4. Disconnect the exhaust flange and remove it from the rubber insulators.
5. Disconnect the center exhaust hanger and the support exhaust with wire.
