7. Clean the cassette head.

Use a cotton bud moistened with isopropyl alcohol (from the cassette head cleaner kit) to remove all deposits on the face of the cassette
playback head. The bead should he clean and shiny.
8. Remove the two front screws and one rear screw.
9. Remove the top cover.
1. Lever up the rear edge of the top cover.
2. Slide the top cover backwards to remove.
10. Clean the cassette head.
