LEFT REAR SEAT BACK OUTBOARD HINGE REPLACEMENT

CERTAIN 2000-01 MODEL YEAR FOCUS 3 DOOR AND WAGON MODELS
OVERVIEW
This procedure provides the detail to replace the left rear seat back hinge with a new, redesigned hinge.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
REMOVAL
1.
Position the driver seat as far forward as possible to gain adequate access to work on the rear seat.
2.
Tilt the rear seat cushion forward.
3.
Remove the center and left seat belt anchor bolts, then remove the left belt from the guide strap at the top of the seat back. See Figure 1.
4.
Unlatch and tilt the left seat back forward.
