Disassembly and Assembly

Front Seat Cushion

DISASSEMBLY

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Wait one minute.

WARNING:  WAIT AT LEAST ONE MINUTE AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE BEFORE
DISCONNECTING ANY SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS
WARNING COULD CAUSE PREMATURE DEPLOYMENT AND MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

2. Remove the front seat cushion. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, Cushion. 

3. Detach the front edge of the seat cover.

Detach the plastic retaining strip.

4. Remove the seven hog rings.

5. Remove the seat cover and foam pad from the seat base.

NOTE:  Note the position of the anti-squeak mat.
