Excess stock returned for credit must have been purchased from Ford Customer Service Division in accordance with Policy Procedure Bulletin 4000.
Attachment III - Technical Information
OVERVIEW
When performing this recall procedure, you will:

remove the speed control servo from the vehicle.
^
inspect the speed control servo for rust and corrosion.
^
replace the speed control cable and, if required, the speed control servo assembly.

Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2.
Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body and detach the cable from the throttle body bracket. See Figure 1.
