Remove the high-mount stop lamp socket assembly, disconnect the lamp electrical connector, then reinstall the socket assembly. Disconnect the
license plate lamp connectors, the trunk latch connector and the wiring harness retainers. See Figure 2.

Pull back the rubber grommets to reveal the two (2) hard plastic grommets at the trunk lid and at the left quarter panel. Disengage the hard plastic
grommets from the body panels, remove the harness retainer from the trunk lid hinge and remove the harness from the vehicle. See Figure 3.
