Focus L4-2.0L SOHC VIN P (2000)
1. Remove the piston rod nut.
2. Remove the top mount and top mount bearing.
3. Remove the upper spring seat.
4. Remove the strut.
5. Remove the bump stop.
6. Remove the boot.
Assembly
1. CAUTION: Make sure the spring ends butt correctly against the spring seats, color code at the bottom. Make sure the bump stop is installed with
the flat surface uppermost.
To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
