Using a press, suitable arbor plates, and Bearing Puller Tool 205-D064 (D84L-1123-A), press the new bearing onto the Intermediate Shaft (Figure
2).

NOTE

DURING BEARING INSTALLATION USE THE FLAT SIDE OF THE BEARING PULLER TOOL, AND BE SURE THAT THE INNER
BEARING RACE IS SUPPORTED WHILE PRESSING THE BEARING ON.

Reinstall the Intermediate Shaft, using the installation procedure in the Workshop Manual (Section 205-04, Removal and Installation, Intermediate
Shaft).
