Removal and Installation Removal | -
Remove the air intake cover. | | -
Detach the air intake hose clips. | | -
Disconnect the intercooler electrical connector. | | -
Detach the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. | | -
Detach the upper and lower oil separator hoses. | | -
Detach the glow plug electrical connector. | | -
Disconnect the oil pressure switch. | | -
Detach the oil separator. - Detach the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the oil separator drain hose.
- Remove the bolt.

Detach the vacuum pump oil drain hose. | | -
Loosen the vacuum pump retaining bolts by 2 1/2 turns. | | -
Release the parking brake. | | -
Move the car forwards, rotating the engine, until the vacuum pump becomes loose. | | -
Remove the vacuum pump. - Loosen the lower retaining bolt.
- Remove the upper retaining bolt.
- Remove the vacuum pump.

Remove the vacuum pump seal. | Installation | -
Install a new vacuum pump seal. | | -
Install the brake vacuum pump. | | -
Attach the vacuum pump oil drain hose. | | -
Attach the oil separator. - Install the retaining bolt.
- Attach the oil separator drain hose.
- Attach the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.

Connect the oil pressure switch | | -
Attach the glow plug electrical connector. | | -
Attach the oil seperator upper and lower hoses. | | -
Attach the vacuum hose to the brake vacuum pump. | | -
Connect the intercooler electrical connector. | | -
Attach the air intake hose clips. | | -
Install the air intake cover. | | |
