1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
   For additional information, refer to: Accessory Drive Belt - 1.8L Duratorq-TDDi (Kent) Diesel/1.8L Duratorq-TDCi (Kent) Diesel (303-05, Removal and Installation).
   

2. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft pulley.
   • Discard the bolt.

3. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft seal.
   • Discard the seal.

   NOTE:Install a new crankshaft front seal.
   Using the special tool, install the crankshaft front seal.

2. 

   NOTE:Install a new crankshaft pulley retaining bolt.
   Using the special tool, install the crankshaft pulley.
   • Tighten the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt in two stages.
   • Stage 1: 100 Nm.
   • Stage 2: 180 degrees.

3. Install the accessory drive belt.
