Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Evacuate the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to Section  310-00A Fuel System - General Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General Information / 310-00C Fuel System - General Information.

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

  1. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Remove and discard the sealing washers.
    Disconnect the fuel lines.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Care must be taken not to damage the filament tubes.
    Disconnect the fuel injection supply manifold filament tubes.

  1. Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new sealing washers.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and carry out the fuel system leak test. For additional information, refer to Section  310-00A Fuel System - General Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General Information / 310-00C Fuel System - General Information.
