Disassemble the front seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Section 501-10 Seating. | | | -
WARNING:Note the position of the wiring harness, to aid installation. An incorrectly routed wiring harness could become damaged when the seat is moved. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury. Detach the side air bag module wiring harness from the seat frame. - Use a trim tool to carefully release the retaining clip.

Remove the side air bag module. - Discard the retaining nuts.
