| Description and Operation General Information This section contains descriptions of diagnosis and testing and general service operations for the iB5 manual transmission, the MTX 75 manual transmission, the MT 285 manual transmission and the clutch. All three manual transmissions are equipped with a cable shift and with a hydraulic clutch operating system. Transmission variants The Focus is available with the iB5 manual transmission, the MTX 75 manual transmission or the MT 285 manual transmission. Availability is as follows: - The iB5 manual transmission is available with the 1.4L Zetec-SE engine, the 1.6L Zetec-SE engine or the 1.8L Zetec-E engine.
- The MTX 75 manual transmission is available with the 1.8L DI diesel engine or the 2.0L Zetec-E engine.
- The MT 285 manual transmission is available with the 2.0L Duratec ST engine.
