Focus ZTS L4-2.0L DOHC VIN 3 (2001)
2. CAUTION: Use studs. Sealer in the dead end bores can cause damage to the ladder frame.
Install 10 studs, M6 x 20, in the shown dead end bores.
3. NOTE: Attach the oil pan within 10 minutes of applying sealant.
Apply a 3 mm bead of sealant to the oil pan mating face.
4. NOTE. Do not remove the oil pan, after the first contact with the ladder frame.
NOTE: Tightening sequence.
Attach the oil pan and tighten the bolts in two stages. Fit the drain plug (shown with engine removed).

Stage 1: 6 Nm

Stage 2: 10 Nm
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Fill with engine oil.

Fill capacity and engine oil according to specifications.
