6. Disconnect the refrigerant line.

Pull out the refrigerant line.

Disconnect the screw-on cap on the refrigerant line.
7. Remove the fixed orifice tube.

Insert the remover into the refrigerant line and hook it into the fixed orifice tube.

Turn the nut clockwise and pull out the fixed orifice tube.
8. Remove the damaged fixed orifice tube.

Use special removal tool 412-34 in conjunction with special removal tool 412-35.
NOTE: Only necessary if the fixed orifice tube is damaged.
INSTALLATION
NOTE:

Renew the O-rings and smear them with refrigerant oil.

Renew the fixed orifice tube.
1. Refit the components in reverse order.
2. Evacuate and refill the air conditioning system.
3. Check the operation of the air conditioning system.
