5. Remove the radiator splash shield.

Remove the six screws.

Disconnect the air temperature sensor electrical connector (if equipped).
6. Using the special tool, disconnect the fluid cooler hose.
1. Insert the special tool into the hose quick release coupling.
2. Move the special tool along the pipe to release the locking tangs.

Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
7. Remove the fluid cooler.
Installation
1. NOTE: After installation, bleed the power steering system.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
