20. Remove the steering gear.
Installation
1. NOTE: Check the O-ring seals for perishing, splits or cuts.
Install new O-ring seals as necessary.
2. CAUTION: Make sure the pressure valve is correctly located in the valve body.
Install the steering gear.
3. NOTE: Visually inspect the floor seal before installation. Make sure the sealing surface of the floor seal is clean and not permanently deformed.
The foam portion of the floor seal should be between 20-25 mm. Install a new floor seal if below the specified value.
Install the steering column coupling shaft and floor seal.
