Removal
1. Remove the steering gear. For additional information, refer to Power Steering Gear.
2. Using the special tools, remove the insulator bushings.
3. Thoroughly clean and visually inspect the bushing housing for signs of damage. If the housing is damaged, install a new steering gear. For
additional information, refer to Power Steering Gear.
Installation
1. NOTE: Lubricate the new bushing with a suitable rubber lubricant.
Using the special tool, install new insulator bushings.
