8. Remove the mounting bracket from right-hand front drive halfshaft intermediate bearing.
9. CAUTION: The inner joint must not be bend more than 18 degrees. The outer joint must not be bent more than 45 degrees.
Remove the right-hand front drive halfshaft from the transaxle and tie it up.
10. CAUTION: The inner joint must not be bent more than 18 degrees. The outer joint must not be bent at more than 45 degrees.
Remove the left-hand front drive halfshaft from the transaxle.

Using the special tool detach the halfshaft from the transaxle.

Pull out the halfshaft from the transaxle using cable ties tie it up.

Using a plug close off the transaxle opening.
11. Using the special tool remove the differential seal(s).
1. Install the special tool.
2. Install the special tool.
3. Remove and discard the differential seal(s).
