14. Detach the door latch from the exterior door handle reinforcement plate.
1. Press the clip to release.
2. Detach the door latch from the exterior door handle reinforcement plate.
15. Remove the exterior door handle reinforcement plate.

Rotate the exterior door handle reinforcement plate 90 degrees counterclockwise.
16. Remove the door latch connecting rod. Rotate the door latch connecting rod 90 degrees counterclockwise.
17. Release the door latch connecting rod adjustment clip.
