4. Detach the B-pillar upper trim panel from the B-pillar.
1. Detach the retaining clips.
2. Remove the safety belt lower anchor bolt and spacer from the safety belt webbing (4-door and wagon shown).
3. Feed the safety belt webbing through the B-pillar upper trim panel.
NOTE: Certain production trim panels have a retaining clip on the front edge.
5. Detach the safety belt upper anchor from the safety belt shoulder height adjuster.
CAUTION: The bolt securing the safety belt anchor is held captive by a paper washer. The bolt, spacer and paper washer must remain on the
safety belt anchor at all times when the safety belt is detached or removed.

6. Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel.
