11. Remove the center armrest brace.
12. Remove the rear footwell heating duct.
13. Remove the center console trim panel.
14. Remove the right-hand instrument panel lower trim panel.
15. Remove the lower heater case duct.
16. Detach the gearshift cables from the gearshift linkage.

Turn the abutment collar clockwise and detach the cables from the bracket.
