ISSUE
Some 2006-2007 Fusion and Milan vehicles equipped with a 2.3L engine and built before 10/6/2006 may exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0606
stored in memory with no apparent drivability concerns.
ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 47.6 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the
VCM 2007.1 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
