2.3L engine
3. Remove the power steering pressure line-to power steering pump banjo bolt.

Discard the bolt and the 2 seals.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the 4 screws and position the RH fender splash shield aside.
5. Remove the 6 pin-type retainers (4 shown) and the RH splash shield.
3.0L and 3.5L engines
6. Remove the battery and battery tray.
3.0L engine
7. Remove power steering pressure line bracket-to-power steering fluid reservoir bolt.

Detach the electrical harness retainer from the power steering pressure line bracket.
-
To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
8. Remove the 2 power steering pressure line bracket-to-engine bolts.

Detach the electrical harness retainer from the power steering pressure line bracket.
-
To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
3.5L engine
9. Remove the power steering pressure line clip from the RH cylinder head engine lift hook.
10. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket-to-RH valve cover stud nut.

Detach the electrical harness retainer from the power steering pressure line bracket.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
11. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket-to-engine bolt.

Detach the electrical harness retainer from the power steering pressure line bracket.
-
To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
2.3L engines
12. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket-to-subframe bolt.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
13. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket-to-steering gear bolt.
-
To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
3.0L and 3.5L engines
14. Remove the power steering pressure line-to-power steering pump banjo bolt.

Discard the bolt and the 2 seals.
-
To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
15. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket-to-steering gear bolt.
