Servo - (2.0L, 2.3L and Diesel Left‐hand drive) Remove And Install (12 451 0)

Galaxy 1995 (02/1995-03/2000)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Remove the master cylinder (refer to Operation Number 12 343 0).

2. Detach the vacuum reservoir from the bulkhead.

3. Detach the vacuum hose from the servo housing.

Vehicles with 2.0L and 2.3L engine

4. Release the cable support bracket (2.0L shown, 2.3L similar).

Vehicles with diesel engine

5. Detach the wastegate control solenoid

All vehicles

6. Remove the driver side lower dash panel (refer to Operation Number 43 644 0).

7. Remove the actuator rod pin retaining clip.

8. Remove the actuator rod pin.

9. Remove the servo.

Install

CAUTION:

Use new nuts when installing the servo.

10. Install the servo.

11. Refit the components in reverse order.

12. Bleed the brake system (refer to Operation Number 12 141 0).

Manual transmission vehicles

13. Bleed the clutch system (refer to Operation Number 16 843 0).
