Removal and Installation

WARNING:

Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or naked flame of any type when working on or near fuel related components. Flammable mixtures are always present and can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Remove the upper section of the engine compartment dividing panel.

2. Remove the engine compartment noise reduction panel.

3. Remove the fuel return hose retaining clip.

4. Disconnect the fuel return pipe.

5. Disconnect the fuel filter outlet pipe.
   Remove the clip from the fuel filter outlet pipe.

6. Disconnect the fuel filter supply hose.
   Remove the clip from the fuel filter supply pipe.

7. Remove the fuel filter.
Install
8. Refit the components in the reverse order.
   Ensure the fuel filter is fitted correctly. Observe the direction of flow arrows.
