Removal and Installation
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Remove the battery housing top and side shields (battery shown removed for clarity).
2. Drain the cooling system (refer to Operation Number 24 122 0).

3. Remove the engine compartment noise reduction panel (three screws).

4. Disconnect the expansion tank hose.

5. Detach the expansion tank.

6. Disconnect the remaining expansion tank hose.

7. Disconnect the low level warning multiplug.
Install
8. Refit the components in the reverse order.
9. Refill the cooling system and check for leaks (refer to Operation Number 24 122 0).
