Removal and Installation

Remove

WARNING:

When relieving cooling system pressure, cover the expansion tank cap with a thick cloth to prevent the possibility of scalding.

1. Relieve the cooling system pressure by turning the expansion tank cap anticlockwise a quarter turn.

2. Tighten the expansion tank cap.

3. Raise the vehicle.

4. Remove the engine undershield.

5. Lower the vehicle.

6. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor multiplug.

7. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Install

8. Refit the components in the reverse order.

9. Top up the cooling system, as necessary.
