Wiper arm adjuster

1. Standard preparatory measures.
   • Lay protective covers over the fenders.

2. 

   NOTE:The wiper motor must be in the parked position.
   

   NOTE:The special tool must rest on the windscreen/rear window at all three contact points.
   Wiper Arm - Adjust (all)
   • Detach the wiper blade.
   • Clamp the special tool to the wiper arm and rest it on the windscreen/rear window.
   • Read off the angle formed at the windscreen/rear window (required value: see General Specifications).

3. 

   NOTE:To correct the angle, lift the tool off the glass to avoid damaging the glass.
   Adjust the wiper arm (continued).
   • Fit an open-ended spanner on the square section of the special tool and correct the angle if necessary.
   • Remove the special tool.
   • Fit the wiper blade.

4. Standard finishing operations.
   • Remove the protective covers.
   • Check the operation of the wipers.
