5. Check/adjust curb idle RPM. If adjustment is required, remove air cleaner assembly and turn the hex head adjustment at the REAR of the TSP or
Vacuum Operated Throttle Modulator (VOTM)/TSP housing, (see illustrations above).
6. Place the transmission in NEUTRAL or PARK. Rev the engine momentarily. Place transmission in specified position and recheck Curb Idle RPM.
Readjust if required.
7. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
8. Check/adjust the bowl vent setting as follows:
a. Turn ignition key to the ON position to activate the TSP (engine NOT RUNNING). OPEN throttle so that the TSP plunger EXTENDS.
b. Secure the choke plate in the Wide OPEN position.
